Effects of Domestic Violence on Children

All children need the best upbringing in life. If they came from a background of domestic violence then as the mother, I have the ultimate responsibly in life to break that cycle of domestic violence.

It is important that my children learn RESPECT.

The boys need to learn to show RESPECT to their elders, women, the people in their community, and of course, friends and family.

My little daughter not only has to learn respect, she needs to grow up to become a strong woman, and to not put up with disrespectful people in her life.

Men cannot bully her around like the way her father bullied me for over twenty years.

I do not want Sarah to endure a life of domestic violence that I experienced, she deserves better.

The Effects of Domestic Violence on Children are so destructive. No children deserves to be raised by a father who has a 20+ history domestic violence.

Effects of Domestic Violence on Children Include:

  • Display aggression

  • Diminished self esteem

  • Socially inappropriate behavior

  • Poor academic performance

  • Poor problem solving skills

  • Poor concentration

  • Show emotional stress

  • Suffer from anxiety or depression

  • Have physical illnesses

They have a father with mental health conditions, and he is still abusing me to this day.

IT IS CALLED FINANCIAL ABUSE!

FINANCIAL ABUSE IS DEBILITATING AND IT DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO START MY LIFE AGAIN.

He has left me homeless, and I have absolutely nothing to show after giving 20+ years of loyalty and love to an abusive animal.

He won't allow me to see the children, or even speak to the children over the phone.

He is financially controlling me, and the Australian government is powerless to do anything about it. The system in Australia is based on policies and rules that only victimize the women of our country who suffer from domestic violence.

It is a massive struggle to fight for my rights as the

Victim of Domestic Violence.

I have NO MONEY, and I am HOMELESS on the streets of

Children who live with and are aware of violence in the home face many challenges and risks that can last throughout their lives
